COVID-19 UPDATE AND INFORMATION

Following the recent announcement from Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and the measures that will be taken by our state government to mitigate the risk of COVID-19, we have made the decision to reschedule BULK2020.

We want to ensure that we’re delivering the best possible event experience for all attendees and exhibitors. We also take the safety of all our attendees, exhibitors, volunteers and staff very seriously.

BULK2021 will now be held from 14-16 April 2021 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre

FAQ’s

I bought a ticket to BULK2020 in April 2020. Is my ticket still valid for the re-scheduled dates in 2021?

Yes! Your ticket will still allow you to enter the re-scheduled expo which will be held in early April, 2021.

 

I will not be able to attend BULK2020 during the revised dates. Can my ticket be refunded or transferred to another?

Do I need to request an updated invitation letter for my visa application?

We will shortly begin the process of sending out revised letters for all those who had submitted request prior to the re-scheduling of BULK2020. For any new applicants, please send your request along with appropriate passport details to even.organiser@primecreative.com.au.

 

I already have a visa. Do I need to apply for another?

Please check your visa validity dates. Unfortunately, you may have to apply for a new one. If you have lodged a visa application and it will not cover the revised dates, you will need to withdraw the applications and re-apply for the event in April 2021. I cancelled my ticket but will now be able to attend on the new dates, what should I do?

If you have already received a refund, you will be able to purchase a new ticket on the BULK2020 website. If you have not yet received your refund but have informed the event organiser of your intention to cancel, please contact us.

 

What should I do with my travel and hotel booking?

If you have booked your travel and accommodation through FBI Travel, please contact them directly.

If you made travel and accommodation arrangements personally, please contact the relevant airline/agent/hotel and explain the situation. They should be able to re-schedule your bookings.

On the BULK website you can find an official announcement stating that COVID-19 is the reason for the rescheduling of BULK. This should be accepted as a valid reason for rescheduling any relevant travel and accommodation bookings.

 

My hotel/airline/travel agency did not accept my request to reschedule and is not willing to reimburse me. Will BULK2020 reimburse me?

Unfortunately neither BULK2020 nor associated partners can be responsible for any financial engagements undertaken by third parties. The restrictions and instability brought about by COVID-19 and the state government have caused the need to reschedule the event in order to guarantee the wellbeing and safety of delegates, staff and suppliers.

 

Exhibitors

I have a stand booked for BULK2020 in April. Does my booking automatically carry over to 2021?

Yes. We will keep your booking in place along with all completed documentation. The online portal will soon be updated to reflect the date changes and new due dates will be adjusted for compulsory documentation submissions. Further information will be provided shortly.

 

Unfortunately, my company can no longer exhibit during the revised dates. What is the process for a refund?

If you can no longer take part in BULK2020 because of the revised dates, please email event.organiser@primecreative.com.au and we will work through this with you.

 

If my company is facing significant developments over the next six months, am I able to amend my exhibitor profile to reflect these changes?

Yes. We will allow changes to existing exhibitor profiles during a special window to be announced closer to the event.
