Julio Rodriguez – Regional Digital Manager Oceania, FLSmidth

Julio Rodriguez is the Regional Digital Product Manager at FLSmidth. He leads the delivery and strategy for all digital mining products within the Oceania region. Prior to joining FLSmidth, he spent several years at leading global technology companies within key roles in sales and business development. There he focused in the areas of optimisation, autonomous automation, data analytics and digital transformation across the mining sector. Before that, he spent 15 years within the oil and gas industry across numerous roles and divisions, from engineering, operations and finally to commercial.

Julio’s career has taken him to the Netherlands, UK, and Australia. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Newcastle University, as well as a PhD in chemical engineering from the Sydney University.
