Melton White – Managing Director, Mideco

Melton White has been committed to the Mideco groups success in the dust control industry for over 30 years.
Melbournian born and bred, Melton graduated from Swinburne University with a Bachelor of Business. He joined the company in 1994 and worked his way up from a sales representative to the CEO in 2004.
Melton has a firsthand appreciation of Occupational Health and Safety issues having lost a mentor and a company as a result of them.
Melton is also the person behind Mideco’s star personnel de-dusting system, the Bat Booth. Having taken ideas originally proposed by NIOSH, writing a product design brief and managing and funding a team while developing the system. The Bat Booth was successfully launched in 2014 and has been installed at multiple work sites in Australia, in Canada and now in America.
