Richard Elliott – Principal Mechanical Engineer, Onyx

Richard Elliott has worked in materials handling for the mining industry for 14 years, specialising in the design and analysis of conveyor transfer chutes and bulk material handling equipment. Richard is the Principal Mechanical Engineer at Onyx Projects and leads the companies DEM team. The primary focus of his work in recent years has been developing advanced techniques for the calibration and validation of DEM simulations and providing assistance to major mining clients in the development of industry specifications for DEM analysis.
